Calf-laced Slippers


This is my first knitting project ever. They are lace-up slippers, that are knit as a flat rectangle, then gathered at the bottom end.

This is Grace, I wandered here through some googling and pattern wanderings. :D I've MADE those. Except I found the pattern in one of my mother's ancient knitting pamplets (as in, it's from the '60s), and they looked SO tacky in the colours in the book I knew I had to make them in those colours: bright orange and bright yellow. XD (I've never seen someone else make these before, so this is exciting)
